OLIO CHEF’S TABLE – Brunello and Friends

Experience the culinary joy when Brunello di Montalcino, known as ‘The King of Wine’, meets a decadent Sicilian degustation menu.

Brunello di Montalcino is a personal favourite of Chef Lino, who has designed a five-course menu that perfectly complements this style of Tuscan wine. Each course will be served with a matched glass of vino, featuring three different wines of Brunello, a Montepulciano, and an Italian-style Victorian Blanc de Blanc.

Brunello has aromas and flavours of blackberry, black raspberry, chocolate, leather and violets, with smooth tannins backed by a savoury punch. The wine’s brilliant acidity allows it to pair well with richly flavoured meat and Italian fare that highlights olive oil.
