Chef’s Table: Ora King Salmon Nui

CHEF’S TABLE – ŌRA KING SALMON NUI
Thursday 20th February 2020
Join us for an up-close and personal culinary experience with the world’s finest king salmon producer, Ōra King.
Described as the “Wagyu of the ocean”, New Zealand’s Ōra King produces ultra-premium salmon and has made a prominent name for themselves with top Chefs across the globe. King salmon is a special and very rare species, making up less than one percent of the world’s salmon supply. The Ōra King breeding programme has developed specific and unique traits that distinguish them from other king salmon, making the Ōra King name a unique and independently recognised breed. The high oil content in this breed can be seen in the striking marbled fat lines within the bright orange flesh, instantly drawing comparison to Wagyu.
Join chef patron Lino Sauro for a specially designed 6-course Ōra King degustation, expertly matched with local and Italian wines. As always, chef Lino has taken inspiration from his Sicilian roots where he grew up surrounded by the ocean, and preparing seafood with his family.
Chef’s Table dinners are an intimate offering with direct access and interaction with chef Lino, and for this particular dinner, Grant Lazurus from Ōra King.
We will only be offering 20 seats for this event. Book now to avoid disappointment.
